Profile of NMi
NMi B.V. is a group of companies active in metrology and technology. NMi B.V. is a 100% subsidiary of Holland Metrology N.V., which on its turn is owned by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO. By this status NMi combines the best of both worlds: the international respect and position of a large and solid institute established by Dutch Government with the flexibility and customer orientation of a private company.

Guardian of the metrological infrastructure in the Netherlands
Subsidiary NMi van Swinden Laboratory B.V. is the Dutch national standards laboratory. It keeps and maintains the present Dutch measurement standards and develops new measurement standards and reference materials.

Test and certification institute
Testing and certification of measuring instruments and gaming machines, is performed through NMi Certin B.V. NMi Certin B.V. has been designated by the Dutch government to perform various verification and certification tasks in the framework of the Dutch legal metrology system and gaming regulations.

Market Surveillance

The supervision tot the Hallmark Act is also assigned to Verispect.
