Welcome to the DMRQA 26 Season
I will be doing a series of five articles concerning this year’s studies, to help and aid you with the process
for this year’s studies. Hopefully, answering pertinent questions and giving the latest updates as we receive
them from the US EPA.
Lets take a minute to review the DMRQA process.
This study is an annual study that is directed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
covering both chemistry and
whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing.
APG currently covers all your DMRQA needs for both requirements.
How do I know if I have to participate?
The easiest way to determine if you have to participate: The US
EPA identifies the NPDES permittees that are required to participate and will send you the US EPA 308 Letter. This
letter is sent from the Federal EPA office announcing the DMRQA study. This letter reviews what your
facility must evaluate and the timelines for submission of data and information back to your state coordinator.
What study can you choose from:
APG is please to provide a mix of WP studies and a DMRQA specific study to choose from. We would like you
to have the opportunity to participate in a study that works for your schedule. APG will make available June
and July WP and possibly May if EPA allows it and of course the DMRQA Specific study. Currently studies are
scheduled for:
