I Know I Passed But How Well Did I Do?
Understanding ZScores
Laboratories typically focus on percent recovery to compare data.
How do you compare two analytes using percent recovery to
determine relative performance? How do you compare two
laboratories across a broad range of analytes? ZScores provide a
way to compare performance. This article
discusses how ZScores, which are included in APG's reports, compare
relative performance of different analytes.

Two Level Wastewater PT Program
Available January, April, July and October
Two level wastewater samples are available in January,
April, July, and October. Many of our customers take advantage
of the two level PT program. Two levels mean a
more complete
verification of your quality assurance system. Two level
wastewater samples include
one PT Standard in the required NELAC/US EPA range
and a second in the historical wastewater ranges. Both
levels are evaluated, but only the WP data will be
sent to a state agency (upon request only). Therefore,
the second level is an additional quality assurance
indicator that more fully tests your instrument's
detection range.
