Why would I need a custom product?
If you have a permit level of 0.50 mg/l for a given contaminant and you analyze your effluent and your result is 0.48 mg/l. How sure are you that your result is accurate? Well, if you had a Quality Control prepared at 0.50 mg/l, certified to be ± 0.001 mg/l, you could be certain that you are not violating your permit.
If you are monitoring a cooling water process and you know the silica in your water supply will plate out on your plumbing or equipment which will impede performance. It's your responsibility to monitor the silica coming into and going out to determine when you need to clean the system. But, you also need to maximize your system up-time. So, you need to be certain that results from your silica analysis are accurate and you don't have time to dilute fresh standards every time you analyze a sample. We can prepare a ready-to-use Quality Control Standard at the level you need.
Maybe you have a manufacturing process for which you are responsible for controlling the cost of production while maintaining quality of the product. You have a chemical that is critical and costly to your production and you need to make sure you are not using to much or to little. So, you monitor the level of the critical chemical left over in your processing bath to make sure you are wasting raw materials. We can prepare a standard at the level you need to make decisions and optimize your processes.
