Recent Softening of the Calcium Hardness Acceptance Limits
The 2002 NELAC FOT regressions created a situation in which laboratories could meet the acceptance criteria for calcium and not meet the criteria for calcium hardness. The 2005 NELAC FOT’s have gone a long way in rectifying this situation.

April is the first month to use your proficiency testing studies results for
the GLEMP program. The only requirements are to complete the GLEMP Laboratory
Profile and participate in two APG studies a year. You can participate
in either April and October or June and December. There are no
additional charges for participating in the GLEMP program.
