DMRQA Announcement Letter Update

We have talked to several customers who have been checking their mail looking for the 308 DMRQA Announcement Letter. According to John Helm of the US EPA, it has not yet been released. We will be distributing a supplemental issue of APG eNews when the DMRQA Announcement Letter is released that highlights important dates and requirements.

Improving DMRQA for Contract Labs and Permittees

Often contract laboratories are lost in the shuffle of DMRQA. They do not receive a copy of the DMRQA Announcement Letter (308 Letter) and sometimes permit holders neglect to notify them of their requirements. Contract laboratories have between 10 to 50 NPDES Permit Holders that have DMRQA Reporting requirements. Between staying up-to-date with DMRQA requirements and preparing reports, permittees and contract labs have a big job on their hands!

APG Certified to New ISO 9001 – 2000 Standard

Analytical Products Group is pleased to announce that we have successfully transitioned to the new ISO 9001 – 2000 Standard. Det Norske Veritas (DNV), certified APG to the new ISO 9001 – 2000 Standard during a two-day audit on April 23rd and 24th. We have noticed several improvements while transitioning to the new standard. The ISO 9001 – 2000 Standard will help us improve our overall quality in every aspect, from manufacturing to quality control, to customer service. Every employee from top to bottom is involved in our quality system and as a result, our customers receive the type of products and services they expect and deserve.
