DMRQA Announcement Letter Update
We have talked to several customers who have been checking their mail
looking for the 308 DMRQA Announcement Letter. According to John Helm of the
US EPA, it has not yet been released. We will be distributing a supplemental
issue of APG eNews when the DMRQA Announcement Letter is released that
highlights important dates and requirements.
DMRQA Online Reporting Features for Contract Labs
Improving DMRQA for Contract Labs and Permittees

notify them of their requirements. Contract laboratories
have between 10 to 50 NPDES Permit Holders that have
DMRQA Reporting requirements. Between staying up-to-date
with DMRQA requirements and preparing reports, permittees and
contract labs have
a big job on their hands!

Why are the PT Acceptance Limits so low for
Total Phenolics compared to the True Value
As a PT Provider, we often receive questions on various test methods and procedures.
One question that we receive is "Why are the PT Acceptance Limits so low for Total
Phenolics compared to the True Value?" More frequently, we are asked, "Why did
I fail Total Phenolics when all my QC Standards pass?" The method and the
way acceptance limits are calculated is the key to understanding.
