APG offers microbiological proficiency testing standards for both its Waste Water and Drinking Water studies. The WP Microbiological standards include Fecal Coliforms and Total Coliforms for both Membrance Filtration method and Most Probable Number method. WP Micro is available quarterly (February, April, July and October).
The WS Microbiological standards include Total Coliform and Total Fecal (Presence/Absence) and Standard Plate Count. The Presence/Absence standards can be analyzed anytime during the 45-day study window. However, all plate count standards are shipped on a Monday to be analyzed on the following Wednesday.
