Maximum Advantage Accreditation Assistance Program
Maximum Advantage is introducing its MAAP (Maximum Advantage Accreditation Assistance Program) on a
national basis. MAAP is a Municipal Laboratory Information Management and Quality Assurance Development
Program. MAAP provides the documents, forms, software tool, and analyst instruction needed for the desired
endpoint of defensible data. Originally developed for internal use in an environmental laboratory, MAAP and
its components have been implemented in municipal laboratories in several states to assist in their
laboratory's development. MAAP is comprised of four integrated sets of products and services in one
integrated offering. Learn how MAAP can help you generate more defensible data and prepare to meet
accreditation issues.
Quality Control/Quality Assurance in Environmental Laboratories
Maximum Advantage is presenting a two-day, Quality Control/Quality Assurance
in Environmental Laboratories seminar at three locations in September. The
course is a comprehensive overview of quality control and quality assurance
in environmental laboratories. The course work covers a wide range of
QC/QA areas from basic concepts to detailed presentation on accuracy,
precision, method detection limits, control charts, and methods validation.
Beginning analysts, experienced analysts, chemists, plant operators, and
specifically those involved with QC/QA activities will benefit from this
course. An effective quality assurance program helps to ensure that quality
control procedures are being properly implemented throughout an analytical
process.
