APG’s online data entry
program is designed to reduce your entry time by remembering your previously
entered information. APG’s online data
entry system automatically establishes defaults for the following 4 areas.
- Method Code
- Method description
- Technology code
- Technology description.
After you report your data
for the first time, (either by paper or online) your default values will be
saved into your elite membership account. The APGQA.com data entry system
remembers the method and technology codes and descriptions entered from the
previously submitted study. When
returning to your elite membership account to report data on-line, the methods
and technologies fields will automatically be populated. By eliminating redundant data entry, the time
savings allows you to focus on reporting just your results. With eliminating 4 of the 5 entry fields,
your potential time savings ranges from 75% -80%.
Although the defaults will automatically be populated
when entering data, you have the authority to make any changes needed. All defaults can be cleared or changed. You always have the ability to enter the
method and/or technology that is appropriate. For example, if you change methods on one of your analytes you can
update the method code and description in the on-line system. The new information will automatically be set
as the new default for the next time you enter data on-line.
