DHL Express - Changes to Service
A note to our customers regarding recent changes to DHL Express: |
|
Effective June 27, 2008 Analytical Products Group was notified by DHL Express that they would no longer be providing delivery services to Belpre, Ohio. This means that in order for APG to receive a package by DHL Express the closest DHL hub will hand it over to a secondary courier to deliver the package to APG. This process has resulted in extended transit times. For example: a recent package shipped to APG from a customer via DHL Express on 7/9/08 did not reach APG until 7/21/08.
This could pose potential problems in meeting the strict time constraints involved with scheduled PT studies, i.e. receiving data prior to the study close date.
This was an important situation that we wanted to make you aware of. As always, APG recommends that you send your documents in a way that you can track them. The following shipping companies fully support our area:
Federal Express 800-GO-FEDEX 800-463-3339
UPS 800-PICK-UPS 800-742-5877
**If you must use DHL Express please allow additional time for shipment, as we can not be responsible for data that is received after the study close date. All data return booklets must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on the study close date. Please note, this does not mean postmarked by the study close date. APG recommends using the "Smart" Online Data Entry System. You do not need to send any data back to APG and the data can be entered until 11:59 p.m. EST on the study close date.
