You may have noticed on recent correspondences our theme-line: 

Personalized Services…Meeting Your Needs. 

Now that I’ve brought it up, you are probably wondering, “What the heck is a theme-line and what does it mean to me as a laboratory?”  Well, the answer to the first part is exactly what you think: it is our underlying commitment, our theme, our way of doing business within our industry.  The answer to the second is a little more difficult to answer in that it means different things to everyone.  To our existing clients it means we will continue to provide you with the highest level of personalized service and superior products you have come to expect from APG.  To our friends who are not yet clients, it is what you SHOULD expect of your provider, and it is exactly what you WILL receive from APG.

Let’s break the theme-line down into its components.

Personalized Services.  Think about that for a moment.  Service from a person.  Service from someone you know and trust.  Someone you’ve actually met and can call – and calls you – to address any issues and ensure complete satisfaction.  Breaking it down even further, what is service?  What do you as a lab require?  What do you need to make your life easier?  This segues quite nicely into…

Meeting your Needs.  Everyone’s needs are different, unique and entirely important.  Our job is to understand those needs and provide what you want and meet your requirements.  APG’s complete line of services is vast and unique to the industry, and while we would LOVE to sell you everything in our catalogue every month, not everyone needs or wants everything.  It is up to us as your provider to get to know you and your labs and what is important to YOU.  This will only happen when we fully understand what is crucial to you and your lab’s success.   

How are we going to accomplish this?  How are we going to provide you with Personalized Services…Meeting Your Needs?  We are going to start by visiting with you and getting to know you individually.  Over the next 10 to 12 months, your Account Executive will be calling to schedule an appointment to meet with you and understand your needs.  You will be receiving a phone call and letter introducing herself/himself to start the ball rolling and to see how we are doing in order to address any immediate concerns.  You will also be contacted by your Relationship Specialist.  Your personal Relationship Specialist will be supporting your Account Executive in ensuring your needs are met.  Together, they will be intimately involved in your account and together will provide those personalized services to meet your needs.

My pledge to you – my commitment – is that you will be completely delighted with whatever level of personalized service you choose with APG.  Whether you require our unique Advantage Reporting tool to manage multiple accreditation programs and training programs or simply a notification of pass/fail, we will provide what is important to YOU because ultimately, that is what is important to us. 

I’ll leave you with these questions: 

What is your laboratory truly concerned with?  Is it simply pass/fail or is it something much more?  Is it understanding your strengths or finding room for improvement?  Is it being able to use your strengths to differentiate yourself from your competitors?  APG will answer these questions with you as we provide Personalized Services…Meeting Your Needs.
