In order for a material to be accepted as a Certified Reference Material, ISO Guide 35 requires that the materials be certified by an unbroken chain of analysis against a national standard, have a defined uncertainty, and be tested for homogeneity by a generally accepted statistical technique. Few inorganic standards available in the US meet this definition. All APG inorganic reference materials are tested and verified to meet these guidelines.
All APG’s calibration materials are supplied with a complete Certificate of Analysis and Instructions.
