A completely double blind program is the perfect solution
Double blinds are analyzed as part of a normal sample stream
and look like your normal samples, therefore the technician
does not know they are being evaluated. Double blind samples
will not be given more or less care than regular samples.
Single Blind Studies...
Use samples that are identified to the laboratory as performance
evaluation samples. Single blinds evaluate the laboratories
fundamental capability to perform the testing within the
acceptable limits and are used to provide important national
and corporate laboratory rankings.
Double Blind Studies...
Use samples provided to the laboratory without notice that have the
characteristics of normal routine samples. Double
blinds are therefore the ultimate test of performance.
Double blind results are provided only to the corporation or
